Isuzu N-Series gas trucks are powered by a 6.6-liter V8 that hasbeen engineered to give you the best of both worlds—it meetspublished Federal emission standards through the 2026 modelyear while generating more power and torque than previousN-Series gasoline engines.

The rigorous driving demands of medium-duty trucks require adurable powertrain. The N-Series meets this need with a castiron block specifically designed for heavy-duty use. In addition,larger piston-cooling jets lower the engine’s temperature tohelp the engine run cooler and more efficiently.

Efficiency is a hallmark of this powerplant. An aluminum head design incorporates direct injection, variable valve timing, and an air intake humidity sensor. Because of these technologies, this engine is a fuel sipper, not a fuel gulper.

The 6.6-liter V8 is not only clean and efficient—it’s also powerful. The engine generates an impressive 350 horsepower and 425 lb.-ft. of torque; the broader torque band gives the driver plenty of power and great response even with full loads. This engine runs smoother and quieter than previous gasoline powertrains in Isuzu trucks, lowering cabin noise and vibration for an enhanceddriving experience.

• SPACIOUS CAB

• WATER CHANNELS

The 38.6-gallon in-frame fuel tank is conveniently placedbetween the rear frame rails. This rearward position keepsthe tank free from interfering with body mounts and doesn’tclutter the frame rails. The larger tank also increases range tokeep refueling stops to a minimum.

• LED LIGHTS

New LED headlamps and daytimerunning lights improve safety andstyling. With brighter illumination,drivers have better visibility innighttime conditions and their trucksare more easily visible to pedestriansand oncoming traffic.

• INTERIOR

The new interior isenhanced with a two-tonegray interior trim, and theseats are covered witha gray and blue crosspattern tricot fabric thatimproves the look and feelof the interior while beingdurable for the daily grind.

• 6-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

The gas-powered NPR and NPR-HD are equipped witha 6-speed automatic transmission. This Hydra-Matictransmission includes a lock-up torque converter andtwo overdrive gears. The transmission is programmedfor optimal acceleration and efficiency.

• BRAKES

A four-wheel disc brakingsystem enhances brakingperformance while improvingpedal feel. This braking systemutilizes a vacuum + power assistand an anti-lock braking system(ABS).
